Bring anything that you consider even slightly exotic.

Be realistic about your expectations- it is NOT a developed country.
   
3.
Demand a powerful generator is included with your living arrangements.
   
4.
Learn some Albanian as soon as possible.
   
5.
Plan trips outside of the country at least once every two months.
