Be aware that things will not proceed as smoothly as in Northern Europe or the US.
   
2.
Be aware of cultural differences.
   
3.
Try to make contact with lots of different people ASAP
   
4.
Be patient.
   
5. Embrace change.

1. Learn French or Arabic.
   
2. Be prepared for a significant amount of "machismo
   
3. Bring English language books – they are expensive and hard to find here.
   
4. Learn something about Islam and Moroccan culture (the holiday of Ramadan, for example, and how it affects life).
   
5. Stay calm and be reassured – this is a wonderful country!
