Spend at least 1 -3 months in Jamaica if possible, not a resort.
2.
Bring all furniture, kitchen items, bath and household things if possible.
3.
Purchase lightweight mosquito nets as soon as possible.
4.
Try to make contact with other Expat women as soon as possible.
5.
Make certain you move into a place where grills exist on all windows and doors. Do not move into a secluded isolated house, regardless of how beautiful the surroundings.
