The Global Workforce Symposium is held in the fall each year, and brings together workforce mobility professionals from around the globe, providing an opportunity for higher learning, benchmarking, and networking. The conference offers sessions focusing on international assignment issues, as well as U.S. domestic workforce mobility issues.
As expected, the 8th annual Families in Global Transition Conference brought together a wealth of expatriate experience from all around the globe. Expats, repats, HR coordinators of expatriates, international schools, researchers, and a wide range of service providers gathered for three days in Houston.
On Saturday, the 13th Global Summit of Women closed in Berlin. "This year's Summit achieved its mission – and went beyond," said Summit President Irene Natividad. "It provided a forum for best practices in women's economic and social advancement to 1000 women from 95 countries, an accomplishment no other conference can claim.
From June 7-10th, I joined 2000 other DARING, DETERMINED AND DYNAMIC women who gathered for an International Conference & Business Expo in Dallas, Texas. It was an awesome, educational, and highly informative conference.
