My name is Kathy and I've lived all over the world my whole life. My mother was in the Foreign Service, so we moved about every 2 years. I went to 13 different schools plus college. I am married and we have 3 young children, plus my husband has 2 teenage children from his first marriage. I enjoy traveling, reading, and many outdoor activities.
- Be aware that things move very slowly here.
- As far as getting things done: whether it is getting your household items, or repair work at your house...it is going to take a while!
- Plan ahead, especially if you have kids.
- Learn at least the basics of the local language…it does help!
