Expat Women Find New Direction with ExpatWomen.com
Australia: Expatriate women around the world now have a much-needed compass for their lives abroad: ExpatWomen.com announced today the launch of their site. This free, comprehensive site is designed to help all expatriate women living outside of their home country – both first-timers and seasoned expats
ExpatWomen.com offers a single location to find resources for more than 150 countries. To keep their information as up-to-date as possible, the team has formed relationships with numerous local country expatriate websites and many distinguished experts in the field of expatriate life. The site also has nearly 100 volunteer Expat Women Mentors from 43 countries worldwide and is actively recruiting more volunteers.
“Having had the privilege of an advance viewing of the multi-layered site – as well as working with the energetic and enthusiastic co-founders Andrea Martins and Jill Lengre during a recent speaking trip to Mexico City – I hope expat women will take advantage of this extraordinary information portal," said Robin Pascoe, well-known author and speaker on challenges of global living for women. The fact that they have signed up so many mentors means expat women really want to help each other and I always applaud that kind of activity”.
ExpatWomen.com provides networking forums, story-sharing, a personal development section and loads of other resources, including dedicated articles and website links for: Students; Travelers; Volunteers; Partners; Mothers; Professionals; and Free Spirits.
Fighting breast cancer is also their goal. “We are happily donating US$1 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. every time someone signs up to our newsletter,” said Jill Lengré, ExpatWomen.com’s Co-Founder. “If 10,000 people sign up, we’ll donate US$10,000!”
